ジョン・ペトルーシ、マイク・ポートノイとツアー開催。妻たちがオープニング・アクトを務める

ドリーム・シアターのギタリスト、ジョン・ペトルーシが、10月に初のヘッドライン・ソロ・ツアーを北米で開催することを告知した。ドリーム・シアターの元バンド・メイト、マイク・ポートノイ（Dr）が参加する。
ペトルーシは水曜日（7月13日）、「どでかいニュースを伝えることができ超ハッピーだ。この秋、俺にとって初となるヘッドライン・ソロ・ツアーをやる！ ベースにデイヴ・ラルー、ドラムにマイク・ポートノイという素晴らしいバンドを引き連れて」と、ミニ・ツアーの開催を告知した。
現時点、10月7日ボストン、13日ニューヨーク、15日ワシントンD.C.での3公演が予定されている。ペトルーシ、ポートノイ、ジョン・マイアング（B）というドリーム・シアターの現・旧メンバーの妻たちが在籍するバンドMeanstreakが再結成し、スペシャル・ゲストとして参加するそうだ。
Meanstreakは1985～1994年に活動。1988年にアルバム『Roadkill』をリリースしており、女性メンバーによる初のスラッシュ・メタル・バンドだったと言われている。
ポートノイとラルーは、ペトルーシが2020年、15年ぶりに発表した2作目のソロ・アルバム『Terminal Velocity』のレコーディングに参加した。ラルーはペトルーシのソロ・デビュー・アルバム『Suspended Animation』（2005年）でもベースをプレイしていた。
