ブルース・スプリングスティーン、バラク・オバマ元大統領と共著の本出版

ブルース・スプリングスティーンとバラク・オバマ元米大統領が、この秋、『RENEGADES: Born in the USA』と題した本を共著で出版する。
率直かつ親密で興味深い2人の会話ほか、それぞれのレアな写真、スプリングスティーンによる手書きの歌詞、大統領時代の注釈がついたスピーチ原稿、彼らのポッドキャストの収録から未公開だった部分などを収めているという。
オバマ元大統領は、「ブルースと僕が初めてRenegades: Born in the USAポッドキャストを録音して以来、僕らが伝えた話や僕らを形成した人々、場所について問われてきた。昨年スタートしたこの会話を続け、本にできることにワクワクしている」とコメントしている。
親しい友人関係にある2人が始めた『Renegades: Born in the USA』ポッドキャストは、今年2月からSpotifyで配信されてきた。人生や音楽、友情、アメリカへの愛、アメリカが抱える問題などが語られている。
書籍『RENEGADES: Born in the USA』は、アメリカで10月26日に出版される。
