ジェイソンの義理の姉妹エイミーさんは金曜日（9日）、「最新情報！」と、こう伝えた。「パット（ジェイソンの母）と話したところです。彼女はこの二晩、病院でジェイソンに付き添っていました。いまはSerranaが彼と一緒です。ジェイソンはまだ病院にいて、点滴と抗生物質を投与されています。彼は本当に担当医を気に入っています。その医師は、抗生物質がジェイソンの細菌感染症を改善するだろうと楽観視しています。ジェイソンは一両日中に家に戻れると期待しています」

パットさんとエイミーさんは、ファンやミュージシャン仲間から寄せられる「いいパワー、愛、祈りに感謝している」と綴っている。

ジェイソン・ベッカーは30年にわたり、筋萎縮性側索硬化症（ALS）を患っている。彼の母パットさんは今週月曜日、ジェイソンの具合が良くないことを公表していた。

I just spoke with Pat. She has spent the last 2 nights in the hospital with Jason. Serrana is with him now.
Jason is still in the hospital receiving iv fluids and antibiotics.”
