SIXX:A.M.は今週初め、「SIXX:A.M.　#Maybe It’s time　フィーチャリング　ジョー・エリオット／ブラントリー・ギルバート／アイヴァン・ムーディー／スラッシュ／コリィ・テイラー／AWOLNATION／TOMMY VEXT　2020年8月21日」と、今週金曜日に何かがあることを告知していたが、これは＜Artist For Recovery＞プロジェクトのためだったことが新たに明かされた。

SIXX:A.M.は水曜日（8月19日）、「SIXX AMはArtists For Recoveryを紹介でき誇らしく思う。“Maybe It’s Time”は、薬物使用障害との闘いと回復時にある人々を支援し、アーティストたちを団結させる」とつぶやいた。彼らは、SIXX:A.M.の5枚目のスタジオ・アルバム『Prayers for the Blessed, Vol. 2』（2016年）に収録された「Maybe It’s Time」の新ヴァージョンを制作したそうだ。

金曜日にリリースされる同曲は、9月29日に配信される、薬物を常用するようになったティーンエイジャーを描いた映画『Sno Babies』のサウンドトラックにも収録されるという。
