オジー、ヴァン・ヘイレンら、マルコム・ヤングを追悼
AC/DCのギタリストだったマルコム・ヤングが11月18日、64歳で亡くなったことが伝えられ、音楽界はまたもや悲しみに包まれた。ミュージシャンや音楽ファンから多くの追悼の言葉が寄せられている。
オジー・オズボーンは「またもや友人、マルコム・ヤングの訃報を知りとても悲しい。寂しくなる。AC/DCに神のご加護を」と、トニー・アイオミは「マルコム・ヤングのこと、残念だ。優れたプレイヤーだった」と、その死を惜しんだ。

AC/DCは日曜日（19日）、以下のような声明を発表した。
「心の底から悲しいが、本日、AC/DCはマルコム・ヤングが亡くなったことを伝えなくてはならない。
マルコムは、アンガスと共にAC/DCの創立者でクリエーターだった。非常に多大な献身と責任感により、彼はこのバンドの原動力だった。
ギタリスト、ソングライター、先見の明のある人物として、彼は完璧主義者でユニークな男だった。彼は常に自分の信念を守り、自分の望むことをはっきり口にした。自分が尽力したこと全てに大きな誇りを持っていた。ファンへの忠誠心は卓越していた。
兄弟として、彼が僕の人生においてどれだけの意味を持っていたかを言葉で表すのは難しい。僕らの絆はユニークですごく特別だった。
彼は、この先永遠に生き続ける巨大なレガシーを遺した。マルコム、よくやった」
また、バンドのFacebookに投稿された別の声明によると、マルコムは家族に囲まれる中、安らかに息を引き取ったという。
