tonun、Jamiroquaiのメンバーを迎えたセッション映像を公開

6月に1st ALBUM『Intro』をリリースしたシンガーソングライター・tonunが、「琥珀色の素肌」のStudio Live映像を公開した。

Studio Liveには、JamiroquaiからKey. Matt JohnsonとDr. Derrick Mckenzieが参加。tonunのルーツの一端でもあるJamiroquaiのメンバー2人がtonunの音楽を聴いたことから実現した今回のセッションは、Jamiroquaiの二人に加えBa.にKobayashi Naokiを迎え4人編成でライブの定番曲である「琥珀色の素肌(英題:Umber Bare Skin)」を演奏した。4人が自分のプレイの色を出しつつもグルーブが心地良い映像だ。

さらに9月29日20:00には、Dr.のDerrick Mckenzieとtonunの二人による「Sugar Magic」のStudio Liveの公開も決定している。

I got to say working with Tonun was a great experience and the first time for me to record with just the artist and his guitar In this situation. It was a great experience for me and Matt Johnson to work with Tonun. He was very professional and knew exactly what he wanted to hear a very rare thing to see nowadays!! His tracks are great to play too and have a a great uplifting mood about them!! The chord progressions are great and the lyrics and melodies (more melodies for me) as it’s all in Japanese but they are very cool!!! I’m looking forward to working with Tonun again and having a great experience with him again in the studio!!!

まずtonunとの仕事は素晴らしい経験だったし、アーティスト（tonun)と彼のギターだけでレコーディングする事は初めてのことだったからとても新鮮だったよ。僕にとってもマット・ジョンソンにとっても、貴重な経験だった。彼はとてもプロフェッショナルで、自分が何を聴きたいかを正確に理解していた、このご時世では稀な事だよ！彼の曲は演奏も素晴らしいし、高まるムードがあってコード進行も素晴らしい。歌詞もメロディーも（僕にとってはメロディーの方が響いたかな）、全部日本語なんだけど、とてもクールなんだ！！！またtonunと一緒に仕事ができるのを楽しみにしているよ!!!

It was great working with Tonun, he’s a real musical guy and despite the language barrier we could just sit down and start playing straight away. There’s some funk in the sound which I love. Great tone of voice too!

tonunとの仕事は素晴らしかった。彼は本当に音楽的な男で、言葉の壁があったにもかかわらず、すぐに演奏を始めることができた。サウンドにはファンクが入っていて、僕はそれが大好きなんだ。声のトーンも素晴らしい！
