ミック・ジャガーとキース・リチャーズ、ロビー・シェイクスピアを追悼
スライ＆ロビーのロビー・シェイクスピア（B）の訃報を受け、ザ・ローリング・ストーンズのミック・ジャガーとキース・リチャーズが追悼の言葉をあげた。
世界最強のリズム・セクションとも呼ばれ、レゲエ、ヒップホップ、R&B、ロックなど数多くのミュージシャンに影響を与え、プロデューサーとしても活躍したシェイクスピアは12月8日、米フロリダの病院で永眠した。68歳だった。
親交のあったミック・ジャガーは「ロビー・シェイクスピアが亡くなったと知り、とても悲しい。彼は伝説的なベーシストで、彼が触れた曲全てにダイナミックなグルーヴを加えた。僕はいつだって、彼とコラボするのが大好きだった。ロビーの家族にお悔やみを」と、キース・リチャーズは「俺の大切な旧友ロビー・シェイクスピアが亡くなったと知り本当に悲しい！ 偉大なベース・プレイヤーだった。俺は、スライ＆ロビーと過ごした最良の日々を忘れない！ 彼の家族と友人たちへ哀悼の意を。Jah Wonderful!」と追悼の意を表した。
