デヴィッド・ボウイの息子、『地球に落ちて来た男』ニコラス・ローグ監督を追悼
デヴィッド・ボウイ主演の『地球に落ちて来た男』（1976年）、ミック・ジャガーが出演した『パフォーマンス 青春の罠』（1970年）、背筋が凍るサイコスリラー『赤い影』（1973年）などで知られる英国の映画監督ニコラス・ローグが11月23日、90歳で亡くなった。
シネマトグラファーだった経歴から、美しく哀しく、ときに恐ろしくもある斬新で強烈なヴィジュアルを創り出してきたローグは、イギリス映画界が誇る鬼才、特異な存在だった。
デヴィッド・ボウイの息子で映画監督のダンカン・ジョーンズは、幼い彼が父、ローグと撮った一枚の写真をTwitterに投稿し、「素晴らしいストーリー・テラー、比類なきニコラス・ローグが今日、僕らのもとを去ったと聞いた。彼はなんて素晴らしい作品の数々を僕らに残してくれたことか！ 彼のご家族へ愛を。数々の大胆な選択 ＆ パジャマを着たこの変わったちびっ子に映画作りへの継続的な愛を与えてくれて、ありがとう」と、追悼した。
