黒人男性ジョージ・フロイドさんが白人警官に首を圧迫され死亡した事件を受け、アメリカの音楽業界が「仕事から離れ、コミュニティと再び繋がる日」、重大な変革に取り組もうと宣言し6月2日に実施した“ブラックアウト・チューズデー”を支援し、多くのミュージシャンがSNSに黒塗りの画像を投稿したり、声明を出した。
オジー・オズボーンは黒い投稿後、「今日午後3時、@OzzysBoneyard（SiriusXMのオジー専門チャンネル）は3分間音楽を止める──1分間、人種差別の恐ろしい歴史を振り返り、1分間この悲惨な瞬間に向き合い、1分間より良い未来を願う。この儀式は#GeorgeFloydと人種差別の犠牲者全てに捧げる」とつぶやいた。
