メタリカ、新作『72 Seasons』のヴィニール盤開封ビデオを公開

約6年半ぶりのニュー・アルバム『72 Seasons』のリリースがいよいよ来週に迫ったメタリカが、月曜日（4月3日）、フロントマンのジェイムズ・ヘットフィールドがヴィニール盤を開封する動画を公開し、中身を紹介した。
ヴィニール盤は2枚組で、インナー・スリーブにはメンバー4人のそれぞれのポートレイトがプリントされており、それらを取り出すと、ジャケットの内側に「72」の図柄が顕著に現れる。
続いて、CDとカセットを開封する動画も公開されている。

『72 Seasons』は4月14日にリリース予定。前日には、リスニング・パーティ＜72シーズンズ：グローバル・プレミア＞が世界各地の映画館で開催される。ひと足早く、新曲を聴くことができる上、ミュージック・ビデオやバンドによる独占解説付きで、特別な体験ができる。
メタリカは『72 Seasons』発表後、27日に新ツアー＜Ｍ72 World Tour＞をオランダ・アムステルダムで開幕する。ツアーには公演により、パンテラ、Mammoth WVH、ファイヴ・フィンガー・デス・パンチ、アーキテクツ、ヴォルビート、グレタ・ヴァン・フリート、アイス・ナイン・キルズが参加する。
