■8/9 Salt Lake City, UT THE Depot

14日目は、ユタ州ソルトレイクシティ・THE Depot。高地にあるユタ州の州都で、2002年に冬季オリンピックが開催されたことでも有名なこの地も、お給仕初開催となる。


前日のデンバー公演に続き、オープニングアクトにはロサンゼルス出身のバンド・Starcrawlerが入り、紅一点のボーカルであるアロー・デ・ワイルドの前のめりなパフォーマンスで会場を温めた。


連日高地での公演となったが、SAIKIの力強いボーカルは揺るぎなく、圧倒的な存在感を見せつける。この日の“おまじないタイム”では、メイド風衣装を着た少女を観客の中に見つけると、小さい小鳩ミクがいる！とメンバーも大喜び。少女にマイクを向け、恒例の「moe moe!」のコールをしてもらうなど会場も大盛りあがりに。8月からの公演では初披露となる「YOLO」なども披露し、この日の公演を終えた。


The fourteenth stop on the tour was The Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah. This high-altitude capital city, well-known as the host city of the 2002 Winter Olympics, gained new fame today as it welcomed BAND-MAID for their first OKYUJI in the state.


Continuing from the Denver performance the previous day, Los Angeles band Starcrawler appeared as the opening act, with the commanding presence of frontwoman Arrow de Wilde lighting the crowd's fire.


In spite of performing at high altitudes for so many days in a row, the power of SAIKI's voice was unwavering, filling the house with her undeniable presence. During Omajinai Time, the bandmembers were overjoyed to spot a little girl in the audience wearing a maid costume, delightedly proclaiming "there's a mini-MIKU here!" They turned the microphone toward the audience's littlest princess and she lead the crowd a call of "moe moe!" that whipped all present into a delighted uproar. Winding things up with a sneak preview performance of brand new song "YOLO", another day's OKYUJI came to a close.
