13日目は、コロラド州デンバー・Summit Music Hall。“Mile High City”（標高1マイルの街）と呼ばれる高地の都市デンバー。お給仕初開催地のため、現地のご主人様・お嬢様も待ちに待った公演だったのだろう、早々にチケットソールドアウトした会場は熱気に満ちていた。


＜Lollapalooza＞でも話題になった、KANAMIとMISAによるギター＆ベースの掛け合いも組み込んだ「HATE?」や「Screaming」などこの日も攻めたセットリストで、高地ということをもろともせず、息をつく間も与えないほどの怒涛の演奏を繰り広げる。


この日の“おまじないタイム”では、KANAMIがベースを指弾き、それに合わせてMISAがドラム演奏をするなど、茶々を入れるメンバーと小鳩ミクの攻防も健在。激しい演奏と笑いを誘うMCとのギャップも魅力的な、BAND-MAIDらしいステージとなった。


The thirteenth day of the tour brought the band to Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado, known because of its altitude as the Mile High City. Since this was the first Denver OKYUJI, the local masters and princesses who'd been waiting for this day sold out the venue early on, and anticipation was in the air.


Working the guitar vs. bass duel between KANAMI and MISA that became the talk of Lollapalooza into a set that included "HATE?" and "Screaming", the high elevation didn't affect the fervor of the band, who barely left a moment to catch their breath as they summoned forth a blisteringly intense show.


Today's Omajinai Time was broken up by KANAMI playing the bass with MISA accompanying her on drums, with the bandmembers' sense of fun and MIKU's skill at running interference nicely highlighted. As usual, it was a night of intense performance and stage banter that left smiles on everyone's faces - the contrast that's such a big part of the charm of BAND-MAID.
