ブリング・ミー・ザ・ホライズン、ニック・ケイヴ、ルイ・トムリンソンら、ロシア公演を中止

ロシアのウクライナ侵攻を受け、ロシアおよびウクライナでの公演を中止するアーティストが続出している。すでに伝えられているグリーン・デイ、AJRに加え、ブリング・ミー・ザ・ホライズン、ニック・ケイヴ、イギー・ポップ、ルイ・トムリンソン、フランツ・フェルディナンド、ヤングブラッドらが声明を出した。
ブリング・ミー・ザ・ホライズンは、「ウクライナへの仲間意識、そしてロシアの指導者によりなされている残虐行為に反対し、僕らはロシア、ベラルーシ、ウクライナでの公演を中止せねばならない。ウクライナは、僕らにとって非常に特別な場所だ。ツアーを行い、何本ものミュージック・ビデオをそこで制作してきた。強い絆、生涯続く友情を多く築き上げている」とウクライナへの想いと共に、「ロシア、指導者によるこの残忍行為は、僕らがその国で出会った素晴らしい人たちの理想や信念を反映するものではないと認識したい」とも綴っている。

ニック・ケイヴは、「ウクライナの勇敢な人々、彼らの英雄的な指導者、そしてこの意味のない戦争により苦しめられている全ての人たちへ、僕らの想いと愛を送る。ウクライナ、僕らは君たちを支持する。この残忍な行為に反対するロシアの人々のことも。僕らはこの狂気の沙汰が早く終わるよう祈っている」とコメントしている。

イギー・ポップは7月にモスクワで開かれるフェスティバルへの出演をキャンセルした。
