リッチー・ブラックモアと彼の妻キャンディス・ナイトによるユニット、ブラックモアズ・ナイトが、金曜日（12月4日）、クリスマスEP『Here We Come A-Caroling』をリリースし、収録されたクリスマス・キャロルの代表曲の1つ「O Little Town Of Bethlehem（ベツレヘムの小さな町で）」のリリック・ビデオを公開した。

EP『Here We Come A-Caroling』には、「Here We Come A-Caroling」「It Came Upon A Midnight Clear」「O Little Town Of Bethlehem」「Silent Night」の4曲が収録され、先月、「It Came Upon A Midnight Clear」のリリック・ビデオが公開されていた。

ブラックモアは、「僕は子供のとき、クリスマス・キャロルを歌い回って、喜んだ人がいたらファージング硬貨（60年代まで使われていた最小の硬貨）を集めていた。もしかしたら、彼らは僕らに立ち去って欲しくて払っていただけかもしれないが。僕ら、4曲の古いキャロルのニュー・ヴァージョンをレコーディングした。僕は歌ってない。楽しんで」と、コメントしている。

ブラックモアズ・ナイトは、2006年にもクリスマス・キャロルを取り上げたアルバム『Winter Carols』をリリースしていた。

彼らは2021年春にニュー・アルバム『Nature’s Light』を発表予定と言われている。
