ブライアン・ウィルソン、モンキーズのピーター・トークを追悼
モンキーズのベーシスト、ピーター・トークの訃報を受け、ブライアン・ウィルソンが追悼の言葉を寄せた。
ウィルソンは「ピーター・トークが亡くなったと聞き、悲しい。僕は、モンキーズは素晴らしいと思っていた。ピーターの死は惜しまれる。ピーターの家族、友人、ファン達へLove & mercyを」とつぶやいた。

また、俳優のマーク・ハミルは「僕らは#PeterTorkを喪ったと知り、とても残念だ。モンキーズは、彼らに相応しいリスペクトを得ていなかった。彼らの音楽カタログは、ポップ史上最も大切なものの1つとして残っている。ピート、僕の子供時代＆それ以降においても重要な一部だった。ありがとう」とコメントしている。

ピーター・トークは腺様嚢胞がんを患っており、2月21日米コネチカットにある自宅で息を引き取った。77歳だった。
