カニエ・ウェストが先週終わり、約1年ぶりにTwitterを再開し、この数日、続々と自身の哲学、信念をツイートしている。
最初はタトゥのデザイン画やお気に入りのTシャツ、スニーカーなどの画像を投稿していたカニエだが、いまはフィロソフィー・モードに入ったようで、「自分の能力は何が何でも守らなくてはならない」「注意散漫はヴィジョンの敵だ」「ときには全てを一掃せねばならぬ」「人生で行なうことは全て、恐れもしくは愛から生じる」「流行はいつも遅れてる」「起きてすぐ電話やネットに飛びつくな。できることなら、1時間誰とも話すな。ただじっと自分のイマジネーションを楽しめ。どの映画よりいい」「君は最良のアイディアを持つ。他の人の意見は大抵、有益ではなく邪魔なだけだ。自分のヴィジョンに従え。愛にもとづき行動しろ。自分が愛することをしろ。好きでなければ、できる限り早くそれを止めろ」「群衆に従うな。自分の中にある本来の感情に従え。考えるのではなく感じて動け。頭に刻まれた思考は、全ての人を同化させる。自分の感情に従え」「嘘をつくのは止めろ」「人生では俺らはみんな、訓練を受けた俳優だ」「もしその人の真の性格を見抜きたかったら、彼に対して何もできない立場にある人を彼がどう扱うかを見ろ」などとつぶやいた。

「的を射ている」「なるほど」など、共感の声も上がっているが、これにツッコミを入れたのがカニエの奥さん、キム・カーダシアン。彼女は「ときには全てを一掃せねばならぬ」との言葉に「待って…全て?!?!?!」と返し、友人のジョン・レジェンドの奥さんクリッシー・テイゲンに向け「ジョンが電話して詳しく聞いてくれるかしら？ でも多分、彼（カニエ）は友達のことも含んでるのよね？ ややこしいわ」とツイートした。
