アイアン・メイデン、間もなく新作の詳細を発表？
アイアン・メイデンが間もなく、ニュー・アルバムの詳細を発表するのではないかとの噂が流れている。
アイアン・メイデンの大ファンという『Hot Press』のライターは、最近、ブルース・ディッキンソンが『Sky News』のインタビューで「Belshazzar’s Feast」と描かれたグラフィックTシャツを着ていることに注目。そこから遡り、6月中旬に英国で開催された＜Download Pilot＞で「Belshazzar’s Feast」と書かれたビラがあったことがわかり、ディッキンソンやプロデューサーのケヴィン・シャーリーの過去の発言、さらに新ツアーのアートワークから、ビラに記された7月15日にアイアン・メイデンのニュー・アルバムについて発表があるのではと推測／期待しているという。
「Belshazzar’s Feast（ベルシャザールの饗宴）」は旧約聖書の『ダニエル書』の5章「The Writing on the Wall」のエピソードで、新アルバムのタイトルは『Belshazzar’s Feast』か『Writing on the Wall』になるのではとの声も上がっている。数ヶ月前に公開された＜Legacy Of The Beast 2022＞ツアーのアートワークには、エディが腰掛ける石壁に「Writing on the Wall」を略した「W.O.T.W.」との文字が描かれている。

I know people are talking about Bruce Dickinson today for another reason, but I noticed his shirt (might) say “Belshazzars Feast” AKA the story of The Writing On The Wall. “WOTW” has shown up in the background of @IronMaiden tour artwork recently…do I win a prize @metalhammer?
