ポール・マッカートニー、英国で記念切手が発行

英国の郵便事業を営むロイヤル・メールは、今月、ポール・マッカートニーのソロ・キャリアを称え、アルバムのアートワークやスタジオで撮影されたレアな写真をフィーチャーした記念切手を発行する。
ロイヤル・メールとポールは木曜日（5月6日）、そのコレクションを公開した。
ソロ・デビュー・アルバム『McCartney』（1970年）、妻リンダと制作した『Ram』（1971年）、ウイングスの『Venus And Mars』（1975年）、『McCartney II』（1980年）、『Tug Of War』（1982年）、『Flaming Pie』（1997年）、『Egypt Station』（2018年）、最新作『McCartney III』（2020年）の8作のアートワークと、『McCartney』『Ram』『McCartney II』『Flaming Pie』制作時に撮影された写真が切手となった。
ロイヤル・メールのオンライン・ストア（shop.royalmail.com/special-stamp-issues/paul-mccartney）で、切手のみから額入りまで30以上のアイテムを5月28日より売りに出す（現在、予約を受け付け中）。日本からもオーダーできる。
