『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』、フレディ役のラミ・マレック、ゴールデン・グローブ受賞
現地時間日曜日（1月6日）、米カリフォルニアで第76回ゴールデン・グローブ賞が開催され、クイーンの映画『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』が最優秀作品賞（映画／ドラマ部門）に選ばれた。
『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』の快挙はこれだけに終わらず、フレディ・マーキュリーを演じたラミ・マレックが最優秀主演男優賞（映画／ドラマ部門）を受賞した。
最優秀作品賞（映画／ドラマ部門）には『ボヘミアン・ラプソディ』ほか、『ブラックパンサー』『ブラック・クランズマン』『ビール・ストリートの恋人たち』『アリー/ スター誕生』が、最優秀主演男優賞にはラミ・マレック、ブラッドリー・クーパー、ウィレム・デフォー、ルーカス・ヘッジズ、ジョン・デヴィッド・ワシントンが候補に挙がっていた。

『アリー/ スター誕生』で主演女優賞（映画／ドラマ部門）の候補に挙がっていたレディー・ガガは、このカテゴリーは逃したが、同作でブラッドリー・クーパーとデュエットした「Shallow」で主題歌賞を受賞した。「Shallow」は、ガガ、マーク・ロンソン、アンソニー・ロッソマンド、アンドリュー・ワイヤットが作詞作曲し、ガガとベンジャミン・ライスがプロデュースした。
