【連載】BAND-MAID、2万人動員全米ツアーレポート／week3

10月28日（金）NEW YORK, NY　IRVING PLAZA

公演10日目は、ニューヨーク市・マンハッタンのユニオン スクエア地区にあるボールルームスタイルの音楽会場IRVING PLAZA。過去にはポール・マッカートニーもステージに立つなど、NYでも人気会場のひとつだ。2019年のワールドツアー時より会場も大きくなり、この日は開演前に現地メディアのインタビュー取材を行うなど、3年前に比べ人気・知名度ともに確実にステップアップしていることが伺える。



トニー・ヴィスコンティによるプロデュースでNYレコーディングを行った「The Dragon Cries」や、KANAMIのギターが冴え渡る「HATE？」をお給仕初披露するなど、ツアー終盤に差し掛かってもセットリストを都度更新し日々挑戦することに余念のないBAND-MAID。この日観覧に訪れていたトニーから借りた貴重なギターをMC中紹介するなど、緩急のあるステージで3年間の成長を見せつけた。

The 10th day of the performance is IRVING PLAZA.

A ballroom-style music venue in Union Square, Manhattan, NY and it is one of the most popular venues in NY like Paul McCartney on stage in the past.
The venue is larger than during the 2019 world tour, on this day, they were interviewed by the local media before the performance started.

You can see that their popularity is definitely increasing compared to three years ago.



They performed "The Dragon Cries" which is produced by Tony Visconti, "HATE?" that featuring KANAMI's guitar solo for the first time during their OKYUJI.

BAND-MAID kept updating the setlists even at the end of the tour.
MIKU introduced a valuable guitar borrowed from Tony Visconti and showed it during on-stage talk.
They showed their growth to audience over the past three years on a stage with mixing fast to slow tempo(pace) music and talk.
