2022 MTVビデオ・ミュージック・アワーズ、司会者3人を発表

米MTVは木曜日（8月18日）、28日に開催する＜2022 MTVビデオ・ミュージック・アワーズ＞の司会者を発表した。
今年は、LL・クール・J、ニッキー・ミナージュ、ジャック・ハーロウがMCを務めるという。1984年に同アワーズが創設されて以降、初期にMTVのVJ数人が共同で司会を務めた年が2回あったものの、3人ものアーティストでショウが進行されるのは初となる。彼らは革新的かつユニークなアプローチで、パフォーマーやプレゼンターらを紹介していくという。
ニッキー・ミナージュは特別賞「ビデオ・ヴァンガード・アワード」の受賞が決まっており、スペシャル・パフォーマンスも予定されている。
授賞式はニュージャージー州ニューアークで開催され、アニッタ、BLACKPINK、J. バルヴィン、ジャック・ハーロウ、Kane Brown、リゾ、マネスキン、マシュメロ＆カリード、ニッキー・ミナージュ、パニック！アット・ザ・ディスコがライヴ・パフォーマンスすることがすでに発表されている。
今年は、リル・ナズ・X、ジャック・ハーロウ、ケンドリック・ラマーの3アーティストが最多の7部門でノミネートされている。
