ザ・リバティーンズ、リリース20周年を記念し『Up The Bracket』特別公演を開催

ザ・リバティーンズが、来月、デビュー・アルバム『Up The Bracket』のリリース20周年を記念し、アルバムを完全プレイする特別公演を開く。
公演は現時点、1回のみ、7月23日にロンドンのウェンブリー・アリーナで開催される。ザ・クリブス、パディントンズらがオープニング・アクトとして参加する。
バンドはまた、2002年に『Up The Bracket』を発表したときと同じ10月に、リマスター盤に加え、デモを含むレアな音源やラジオ・セッション、初期の公演で録音されたパフォーマンスなどを収録し、さらにメンバーのインタビューや写真、メモラビリア等を掲載したブックが付いた『Up The Bracket』デラックス・エディションをリリースする。
『Up The Bracket』は全英チャートで初週にマークした35位が最高位だが、ロングセラーとなり、プラチナ・ディスクに認定されている。リバティーンズはその後、セカンド・アルバム『The Libertines』（2004年）で全英1位に輝いた。
リバティーンズは来週末（6月24日）、＜グラストンベリー・フェスティバル＞に出演する。
