エヴァネッセンス、ギタリストのジェン・マジューラが脱退

2015年、テリー・バルサモの後任でエヴァネッセンスに加入したギタリストのジェン・マジューラがバンドを脱退した。
エヴァネッセンスは週末（5月21日）、「私たちの大切な友人、ジェン・マジューラとの章はバンドにおけるとても特別なものだった。でも、私たちは別の道を歩む時がきたとの決断を下した」との声明を出した。
「私たちはこの先もずっと、彼女を愛し、支援していく。彼女が次に何をやるのか楽しみにしている！ 世界中で私たちが一緒に過ごした楽しい日々、一緒に作った素晴らしい音楽にとても感謝している。私たちはいま、この先のツアーに向けリハーサルに取り組んでいるところで、数日内に新しいラインナップについてエキサイティングな知らせがある。だから注目していて」
マジューラは、エヴァネッセンスと共に4枚目のスタジオ・アルバム『Synthesis』（2017年）と最新作『The Bitter Truth』（2021年）の2枚のアルバムを制作した。
エヴァネッセンスは、6月5日にフェスティバル出演を含めたヨーロッパ・ツアーを開始する。
