ジーン・シモンズ、イーロン・マスク氏のTwitter買収に「素晴らしいニュース」
Twitter社がテスラのイーロン・マスク最高経営責任者からの買収提案を受け入れたとのニュースに、ほぼ毎日、何かしらつぶやいているキッスのジーン・シモンズが「ファンタスティック」と反応した。
シモンズは、「約440億ドルで合意に至った」との報道があった数時間後、「ファンタスティックなニュースだ、まずは。@elonmuskはいま@twitterの誇りあるオーナーだ。フリー・スピーチ、重要だ。でも、ヘイト・スピーチ、偽情報（嘘）はフリー・スピーチと一線を画すべきだ、俺の私見では。グッドラック、イーロン」とツイートした。
シモンズはその後、あるユーザーからの「フリー・スピーチ＝全てか無かだ」とのリプライに「バカなこと言ってる。そうしたい気分だったからって、映画館で立ち上がり、火事だって叫ぶ権利は君にはない。それは暴動の扇動だ。わかってるだろ？」と返信している。
シモンズは最近、マイク・タイソンが機内でからんできた男性を殴ったことに対し、YouTuber／プロボクサーのジェイク・ポールがタイソンを擁護したとのニュースに「同意する！」とつぶやき、物議をかもしていた。
