ランディ・ローズの新ドキュメンタリー、予告編公開
ランディ・ローズの新ドキュメンタリー『Randy Rhoads: Reflections of a Guitar Icon』の予告編が公開された。作品は5月6日からビデオ・オン・デマンドで配信される。
『Randy Rhoads: Reflections of a Guitar Icon』は、Andre Relisが監督し、ランディの母や兄、エドワード・ヴァン・ヘイレン、ルディ・サーゾ、フランキー・バネリ、ジョージ・リンチ、ゲイリー・ムーア、オジー・オズボーンらのインタビューや未発表映像を通じ、若くして亡くなったギター・レジェンドの語られざる物語を明かしているという。L.A.ガンズのギタリスト、トレイシー・ガンズがナレーターを務めた。
ランディが1982年3月19日に飛行機事故で亡くなってから40年が経つが、彼のレガシーはあせることなく、その死はいまだ多くの人たちから惜しまれている。オジーは今年の命日、「世界が君を失ってから今日で40年が経つとは信じられない。君と一緒だった日々を思い返している。最後に会ったのがまるで昨日のことのようだ。常に俺のの心の中にある。ブラザー、愛してる」との追悼の言葉を送っていた。
ランディ・ローズは昨年、ロックの殿堂でミュージカル・エクセレンス賞を受賞した。
