オジー・オズボーンは「ピート・ウェイのなんて悲しい知らせだ。長いこと会っていなかったが、素晴らしい思い出＆俺らがやらかした驚きの逸話の数々はずっと忘れない。安らかに。彼の家族、友人、ファンたちへ愛とリスペクトを」と、ギーザー・バトラーは「今年はどんどん悪くなっている。メタル界の“名物男”の1人でアストン・ヴィラFCのサポーター仲間だったピート・ウェイが亡くなった。彼はDeadland Ritualのロンドン公演でサポート（・アクトを）してくれた。ものすごく面白い奴だった。RIP ピート」と偲んだ。
