シアラ、非常事態に100万食を提供。カーディ・Bは「コロナウイルス」の印税を寄付
シアラとラッセル・ウィルソン（アメリカンフットボール選手）夫妻は、新型コロナウイルスにより非常事態にあるコミュニティーを支援し、フードバンクに100万食分相当を寄付した。
夫妻は3月17日、感染拡大は刻々と世界を変えており、愛する人を喪ったり、仕事が奪われた人たちがいると、支援を表明。地元シアトルのFood Lifelineへの寄付を明かした。
Food Lifelineは「寛大な寄付をありがとう。あなた達からのプレゼントにより、Food Lifelineは100万食を提供できる。隣人たちを助けてくれてありがとう。WA西部はあなた達がいなかったら違う状況になっていただろう」と、感謝している。

また、カーディ・Bは先週、新型コロナウイルスに対する恐怖を語り、状況を軽んじないよう呼びかけるビデオ・メッセージをSNSに投稿したが、これをもとにDJ iMarkkeysが制作／リミックスしたソング「Coronavirus」が流行していることから、カーディとDJ iMarkkeysは印税をフードバンクやホームレスなどの支援団体へ寄付することを決めたという。
カーディは「すぐにお金は入らない…でも数ヶ月先だったとしても、ウイルスのせいで失業し家計が苦しい家族はいる。私たち、寄付するわ！」とつぶやいている。
