娘を亡くしたスリップノットのS・クラハン、ファンからの愛と支援に感謝

5月18日、娘（享年22歳）を亡くしたスリップノットのショーン・クラハンが水曜日（22日）、ファンから寄せられた追悼の言葉への感謝と、葬儀の詳細を伝えるメッセージを自身およびバンドのSNSに掲載した。

「まず：Chantel、Alexandria、Gage、Simonと俺は、俺らの元に届いている果てしない量の愛、祈り、想い、優しさに対し、みんなに感謝したい。いま、個々のメッセージ＆コメントに目を通し返事をするのは不可能だが、俺らはこのエネルギーが共有されていると感じることができ、とても感謝しているのは知ってもらいたい。君らはみんな、このコミュニティーに共感、ポジティブ性、強さがあることを証明した。この世で人間らしさと呼ぶものだ。

次に：俺の娘、Gabrielleの葬儀は5月26日日曜日に執り行われる。花はデモインのScottish Rite Consistoryへ、カードと悼辞はIles Funeral Homeへ送ることができる。止めどない感謝、ショーン＆家族より」

Firstly: Chantel, Alexandria, Gage, Simon and I would like to thank everyone for the endless amount of love, prayers, thoughts, and kindness we have been receiving. While it is not possible for me to read and respond to each individual message & comment right now, I want you to know that we can feel the energy shared and we are so grateful. You have all proven that there is empathy, positivity, & strength in this community that we call humanity here on Earth. Second: There will be a funeral for my daughter Gabrielle on Sunday May 26th. Flowers may be sent to the Scottish Rite Consistory in Des Moines. Cards & condolences may be directed to Iles Funeral Home in Des Moines. Thank you endlessly, Shawn and family

スリップノットは先週木曜日（5月16日）、新マスクとニューシングルを公開。翌日、TV番組でパフォーマンスし、8月にリリースするニュー・アルバム『We Are Not Your Kind』に向け、活動を再開したところだった。
