クランベリーズ、ドロレスの一周忌に、彼女が生前レコーディングした新曲を公開
クランベリーズが、ドロレス・オリオーダンの一周忌にあたる1月15日、彼女が亡くなる前にレコーディングしていた新曲「All Over Now」の音源を公開し、4月にラスト・アルバムとなる『In The End』をリリースすることを発表した。
ドロレスは2018年1月15日、レコーディング・セッションのため滞在していたロンドンのホテルで急逝。酔った状態で入浴したことによる溺死だと結論づけられた。まだ46歳だった。
バンドはその後、ドロレスがヴォーカルをレコーディングしていた新作を完成させると宣言していた。
ドロレスの母Eileenさんは、「ドロレスの死から1年が経ち、彼女を追悼し、彼女の人生を祝福するのに、このバンドとの彼女の最後のアルバムのリリースについて世界に発表することほど相応しい方法は考えられない」と、コメントしている。ドロレスはこの新作にワクワクしており、リリースを楽しみにしていたという。

『In The End』には、「All Over Now」「Lost」「Wake Me When It’s Over」「A Place I Know」「Catch Me If You Can」「Got It」「Illusion」「Crazy Heart」「Summer Song」「The Pressure」「In The End」の11曲を収録。彼らのデビュー・アルバム『Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?』（1993年）、セカンド『No Need Argue』（1994年）および5～6枚目のスタジオ・アルバムを手がけたスティーヴン・ストリートがプロデュースした。4月26日にリリースされる。
