スティーヴィー・ワンダー、アレサ・フランクリンをお見舞い
アレサ・フランクリンの健康状態が心配される中、火曜日（8月14日）、スティーヴィー・ワンダーがお見舞いに訪れたそうだ。
AP通信によると、彼女のパブリシストは、ワンダー、公民権活動家のジェシー・ジャクソン牧師、元夫で俳優のグリン・ターマンがデトロイト地域にある彼女の自宅を訪問したと話したという。
フランクリンは自宅でホスピスケアを受けていると伝えられているが、パブリシストから病状の説明はなく、「重病を患っている」とだけコメントされた。
フランクリンへのお見舞いの言葉は後を絶たず、チャカ・カーン、ロッド・スチュワート、キッスのポール・スタンレー、キンクスのデイヴ・デイヴィス、ホワイトスネイクのデイヴィッド・カヴァデール、ビル・クリントン元米大統領ら多くの人々から彼女を想うツイートがなされている。
