ジョン・レジェンド夫妻、東京行きのフライトがLAに逆戻り
ジョン・レジェンド夫妻が火曜日（12月26日）搭乗したLA発東京行きのフライト（全日空175便・乗客226名）でトラブルが発生し、飛行機はLAを飛び立った4時間後、LAに戻らなくてはならなかったという。
奥さんのクリッシー・テイゲンはこの模様をTwitterで実況中継した。彼女によると、搭乗予定のない人物が搭乗していたことが発覚したため、東京までの道程1/3以上を飛行していたにもかかわらず、出発地点へ引き返すことになったという。
テイゲンはまず「11時間のフライトで4時間が過ぎたとき、引き返すことになったの。この飛行機に搭乗すべきじゃない乗客がいたからって。なんで…、なんで私たち全員が戻らなきゃならないの。わかんない」とツイート。

その後、ハプニングを楽しむ様子も見られたが、彼女は「どうして、1人の間違いのために私たち全員が罰せられるの？ どうして東京に着いてから、その人を送り返すんじゃダメなの？」と始終困惑していた。
Why did we all get punished for this one person’s mistake? Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back? How is this the better idea, you ask? We all have the same questions.

CNNによると、別々のフライトで東京へ向かうはずだった兄弟が、名前が似ていたためか、2人とも175便に搭乗できてしまったのが原因だったという。間違いに気づいたのは離陸後で、全日空は安全手順に従い、LAへ引き返すという判断を下したそうだ。なぜこのようなことが起きたか、現在調査中だという。
レジェンド夫妻はLAに戻り、数時間待った後、別のフライトで日本へ向かうことができたが、ジョンは飛行機の中で誕生日（28日）を迎えることとなったらしい。
とんでもない長旅になってしまったが、到着後は、「でも、東京に来れて幸せよ！ 再び若い恋人たちに戻ったような気がしてる。2012年のラーメン・アドベンチャー以来久しぶり！」と、2人は日本滞在を満喫している模様。

We uhhhhh went ahead and cancelled our connecting flight to nagoya and 3 hour car ride for…obvious reasons…but are happy to stay here in Tokyo! We feel like young lovers again. Been a while since the ramen adventures of 2012!
