ポール・マッカートニー、「Say Say Say」の新ヴァージョンを公開
ポール・マッカートニーが火曜日（10月6日）、マイケル・ジャクソンとデュエットした「Say Say Say」（1983年）の最新ヴァージョンのミュージック・ビデオを公開した。

同曲は、先週リリースされた『Pipes Of Peace』（1983年）のリマスター盤に収録。Spike Stentがリミックスし、オリジナル・ヴァージョンには使用されなかったマイケルのヴォーカルがフィーチャーされた。ミュージック・ビデオはレディー・ガガやSiaの作品を手がけたRyan Heffingtonが監督した。
『Pipes Of Peace』リマスター盤のスペシャル・エディションに付随するDVDには、マイケルがポールの自宅を訪れた際撮影された貴重なホーム・ムービーも収録されているそうだ。
また、同時に『Pipes Of Peace』（1983年）の前作となる『Tug Of War』（1982年）のリマスター盤もリリースされた。
「Say Say Say」はジョージ・マーティンがプロデュース。ポールとマイケルは1982年にリリースされたマイケルのアルバム『Thriller』の1stシングル「The Girl Is Mine」でコラボしているが、レコーディングしたのは「Say Say Say」のほうが先だった。『Pipes Of Peace』は、同時に録音された2人のもう1つのデュエット「The Man」も収録している。
