lyrical schoolが、ベストアルバム『lyrical school 2010-2026』を本日配信リリースした。
2026年4月19日に東京・恵比寿LIQUIDROOMで開催されたワンマンライブを最後に、15年余の活動に幕を降ろした彼ら。本作は、デビュー時のtengal6時代を含め、T-パレット～キング・レコード～ブートロック～ビクターの各時代と、レーベルの枠を超えて2010年から2026年までの代表曲の計31曲を網羅した作品となっている。
さらに、アルバムには「DAYONE」「朝の光」の未発表曲が加えられ、計33曲というボーカルでのリリースとなった。なお、「DAYONE」は2024年のアルバム『DAY 2』のオープニングスキットを楽曲化したもの、「朝の光(ryuya remix)」はクレジット通り、『LIFE GOES ON e.p.』収録曲でシングルにもなった「朝の光」をメンバーのryuyaがリミックスを手掛けたもので、どちらも本邦初公開となる作品だ。
また、ジャケットは15年の歴史をビジュアルでも伝えるべく、これまでの「lyrical school」のロゴを積み重ねたもので、lyrical schoolのグラフィックデザインを支えてきたmzaが手掛けた。
