ラッシュのドラマー、ニール・パートの訃報が伝えられ、多くのミュージシャンから追悼の言葉が寄せられている。
キッスのポール・スタンレーは「最悪なニュースだ。ニール・パートが脳腫瘍との闘病の末、亡くなった。彼の晩年は家族の悲劇に見舞われた。すごく、すごく悲しい。ただただショックだ」と衝撃を隠せず、ブライアン・ウィルソンは「ニール・パートが亡くなったと聞いた。本当に悔やまれる。若すぎる。ニールは偉大なドラマーの1人だった。寂しくなる。ニールの家族へ愛とお悔やみを」と哀悼の意を捧げた。
