ジューダス・プリースト、初の南アフリカ公演中止にガッカリ
ジューダス・プリーストが、来月、南アフリカで予定していた2公演を中止することを発表した。運搬と技術の面で問題が生じたという。これらは、彼らにとって同国で初の公演になるはずだった。
バンドは火曜日（2月12日）、以下のような声明を出した。「非常に残念なことに、我々には全くなすすべのない状況、ロジスティックスと技術的な理由により南アフリカでの公演を中止すると発表せねばならない。南アフリカで初めてファンのためにパフォーマンスするのを楽しみにしていたのに、このようなことが起き、とても失望している。我々は50年近く世界中でツアーを行ない、いつも公約を順守してきた－この状況に非常に動揺している」

ジューダス・プリーストは3月20日にケープタウン、22日にヨハネスブルグでパフォーマンスするはずだった。
彼らは今月、オジー・オズボーンとUK／ヨーロッパでツアーを開催する予定だったが、オジーの体調不良により全日程が延期されていた。
ジューダス・プリーストの＜Firepower＞世界ツアーは今後、3月前半にオーストラリア、5月初めから6月終わりまで北米で開催される。
