メタリカ、特製ウォッチを発売
メタリカが、米カリフォルニアの時計メーカーNixonと提携し、この秋、オリジナル腕時計を発売する。
「Corporal SS “…And Justice for All”」「Sentry Leather “Seek & Destroy”」「Sentry Leather “Black Album”」「51-30 “Master of Puppets”」「51-30 Tide LTD “Sanitarium”」「Time Teller “Kill ‘Em All”」「Time Teller “Ride the Lightning”」「Time Teller Pushead」「Time Teller “Hardwired”」と名付けられた、全体が真っ黒なシンプルかつハードなものから秒針がギターになっているものまで9種のデザインがある（”Sanitarium”のみリミテッド・エディション）。価格は＄125～750（約1万4,000～8万4,000円）で、現在、メタリカのオンラインストア（metallica.com/store/nixon/）で予約を受け付けている。
また、11月5日から店舗やNixonのオンラインストアでも購入できるという。
メタリカのオフィシャル・サイトによると、「これは始まりに過ぎない。2019年のためにもっとアイディアがある」とのことで、来年、新たなコレクションも期待できそうだ。

メタリカは9月2日から＜Worldwired＞北米ツアー第2弾を開催。休みを入れつつ、来年3月まで続く。
