レミー、70歳の誕生日をロックにお祝い
モーターヘッドのレミーがクリスマス・イブ（12月24日）、70歳になるが、ひと足早く、日曜日（12月13日）米ウエスト・ハリウッドにある伝説のクラブWhisky A Go Goで誕生日パーティーが開かれた。
レミーを祝福し、元ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズのスラッシュ、ダフ・マッケイガン、マット・ソーラム、ギルビー・クラーク、メタリカのロバート・トゥルージロ、アンスラックスのスコット・イアンとチャーリー・ベナンテ、ブラック・レーベル・ソサイアティのザック・ワイルド、元セックス・ピストルズのスティーヴ・ジョーンズ、ザ・カルトのビリー・ダフィー、Fozzyヴォーカリスト／プロレスラーのクリス・ジェリコ、King’s XのWhitfield Crane、ボブ・キューリック、ビリー・アイドル、セバスチャン・バック、グレン・ダンジグらが集まり、セッションを繰り広げたという。
特製のバースデイ・ケーキは、レミーの肖像画と70の数字が入ったスペード、「I am “Lemmy” Kilmister Happy Birthday」「Born to Lose Live to Win」とのメッセージで飾られていた。
